My next book, The Secrets of Selwyn Castle, is scheduled for release in August 2024. It’s a low-heat (kissing-only) Regency romance, and it will be the first installment in my new series, Beau Monde Secrets. Unlike The Solitary Rose, the Beau Monde Secrets books won’t contain magic or fantasy elements. But The Secrets of Selwyn Castle contains more than a hint of mystery, and it’s brimming with Christmas cheer. I hope it will become some readers’ new holiday favorite.

Here’s how I pitched the book:

Richard Selwyn had a simple plan: throw a holiday house party to help his younger brother find a wife. That will secure the succession of the family title without disturbing Richard’s comfortable life as a bachelor. He didn’t expect a castle full of secrets, a jewel thief, and a kiss under the mistletoe that just might change the course of his life.

Ivy Burnley was raised in luxury by her noble uncle and aunt, but her own parentage is so scandalous that she believes herself unfit to be the wife of a gentleman. She arrives at Selwyn Castle intending only to help chaperone her debutante cousin. But winter walks, waltzes, and a handsome earl challenge her resolution to stay single. When the loss of an heirloom ring leads her to reveal her darkest family secret, Ivy must decide whether to continue letting shame hold her back or move beyond her past into a new future.
