Today, I’ve got two exciting announcements about my debut romance, The Solitary Rose!

Audiobook Available

Square graphic with a black background. On the left are the vertical words “Audiobook” in large red text and the words “Narrated by Virginia Ferguson” horizontally at the bottom. On the right is a photo of an English manor house in the background, partially obscured by leafy trees. In the foreground is a red rose in full bloom and a short red candle with a bright flame. White lettering over the image reads: “THE SOLITARY ROSE” and the author’s name: “Anne Rollins,” at the bottom.

Last year, The Solitary Rose was published in ebook and print format, but the publisher (The Wild Rose Press) doesn’t produce audiobooks. This summer, I used ACX to find a narrator for the novel. I’m pleased to report that the audiobook version of The Solitary Rose, narrated by Virginia Ferguson, is now available on Audible, Amazon, and itunes. I’m excited that this romance is now accessible to a wider audience! I hope it finds even more readers who enjoy a touch of fantasy in their Regency romance.

    Finalist in the NEST Contest

My second piece of news is hot off the presses, by which I mean I learned it only this morning. Today I found out that The Solitary Rose was a finalist in the NEST contest for fiction, held by the Central Regional Oklahoma Writers. Although the novel didn’t win first place, I’m pleased to have placed fourth in the Paranormal Category! The Solitary Rose is a quirky little book (Regency fantasy romance? What genre is that?), so I’m glad to see it getting some love!
